        <h2>SMU Mustangs in Action</h2>
        <p>DALLAS, Texas (SMU) -- The Mustangs will showcase their talent across three key meets this weekend. Distance athletes will compete at the <strong>Stanford Invitational</strong>, while their teammates will focus on jumps, sprints, and multis at the <strong>Texas Relays</strong> and <strong>Bobcat Invitational</strong>.</p>
        <p>The competitions in Texas kick off on Thursday and will conclude on Saturday, with the Stanford Invitational set for Friday and Saturday.</p>
        <p>This marks the second weekend of the SMU Mustangs' <a href="https://smumustangs.com/sports/track-and-field" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">2026 Outdoor Track and Field season</a>, following a successful outing at the TCU Alumni Invitational in March. This weekend’s events offer a critical opportunity for athletes to further develop their skills as they aim for seasonal goals.</p>
