California High School Boys Basketball Rankings: Midseason Overview

The 2025-26 California high school boys basketball season is reaching its exciting midpoint, with postseason play fast approaching. The competition is heating up, and we have a fresh look at the top teams making waves across the Golden State.

1. Sierra Canyon Trailblazers (18-1)

At the forefront of our rankings is the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers, currently boasting an impressive 18-1 record. The Trailblazers are riding a remarkable 13-game winning streak, capping it off with a victory at the Hoophall Classic in Springfield, Massachusetts, where they defeated Florida’s Columbus team 75-58. With star players like five-star combo guard Brandon McCoy and four-star small forward Maximo Adams (North Carolina commit), Sierra Canyon is poised for postseason success. 2. Harvard-Westlake Wolverines (20-2)

The Harvard-Westlake Wolverines are next in line with a stellar 20-2 record.
