The Illinois State Redbirds are gearing up for their second tournament of the season, scheduled at the Silicon Valley Invitational held by Santa Clara University and San Jose State from February 12-15. The Illinois State softball team has been ranked fourth in the Missouri Valley Conference preseason poll, as determined by head coaches in the league. Notably, Hannah Meshnick received preseason All-MVC honorable mention recognition.
