University of Denver Women’s Golf Team Heads to Wallace Golf Classic
DENVER, CO – The University of Denver women’s golf team is gearing up for an exciting weekend as they participate in the Alice and John Wallace Women’s Golf Classic, hosted by Long Beach State in California. This prestigious event is scheduled to take place from February 14 to 16 at the scenic Monterey Country Club in Palm Desert, California.
Event Overview
This year’s tournament includes an impressive 16-team lineup, showcasing top-tier programs from across the nation. In addition to Denver and host Long Beach State, the competition features teams such as New Mexico, Vanderbilt, and UCLA. Other noteworthy participants include UC Riverside, Northern Arizona (NAU), San Jose State, Hawaii, Eastern Michigan, USC, Boise State, Grand Canyon, Washington, Cal, and Fresno State.
The Pioneers will be playing one 18-hole round each day, providing them with an opportunity to demonstrate their skills and compete against some of the best collegiate golfers.
