Nebraska Women’s Golf Team Targets Success at MSU SoCal Spring Invitational

The Nebraska women’s golf team is poised to continue its impressive performance as they prepare for the MSU SoCal Spring Invitational, taking place from March 8 to 10 in Camarillo, California. This three-day, 54-hole tournament, hosted by Morehead State, will be held at the stunning Sterling Hills Golf Club, featuring a challenging par-71, 5,900-yard layout.

  • Event: MSU SoCal Spring Invitational
  • Location: Sterling Hills Golf Club, Camarillo, California
  • Schedule:
    • Round 1: Sunday, March 8, at 10 a.m. (CT) – Shotgun Start
    • Round 2: Monday, March 9, at 10 a.m. (CT) – Shotgun Start
    • Round 3: Tuesday, March 10, at 9:30 a.m. (CT) – Shotgun Start
  • Participating Teams: 15 teams including Creighton, CS Bakersfield, Notre Dame, Memphis, and more.

    Kono recorded a career-best score of 210 (-6) at Westbrook and consistently ranks near the top with a stroke average of 72.63.

  4. Symran Shah (RJr., Carrollton, TX)

  5. Lauren Thiele (RJr., Wahoo, NE)

Individual Competitor:

  • Olivia Lovegrove (So., Lincoln, NE) will also be competing as an individual.
