U.S. Men’s National Soccer Team to Train at Great Park During 2026 FIFA World Cup

As anticipation builds for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the U.S. men’s national soccer team has announced that they will be training at Great Park in Irvine, California. This world-class training facility is ideally situated approximately 45 miles from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, where Team USA will compete in two of their three group-stage matches.

Among the key fixtures, the U.S. will kick off their tournament on June 12 against Paraguay. This match will serve as the opening battle for the team in Group D, and excitement is already palpable among fans.

Training Facilities at Great Park

Great Park boasts a remarkable 24 soccer pitches along with a variety of athletic facilities, making it an excellent venue for the team’s preparation. Matt Crocker, the U.S. Soccer Federation’s sporting director, emphasized the quality of the facilities, stating, “The facilities are simply outstanding and will provide the perfect training environment for our team to prepare to be successful at the World Cup.” This commitment to high-caliber training underscores the team’s dedication to performing at their best.

Fans can mark their calendars for the critical matches in the group stage:

  • June 12: United States vs. Paraguay — Los Angeles Stadium, Inglewood, California (9 p.m. ET)
  • June 19: United States vs. Australia — Seattle Stadium (3 p.m. ET)
  • June 25: United States vs. UEFA Playoff C (Slovakia, Kosovo, Türkiye, Romania) — Los Angeles Stadium, Inglewood, California (10 p.m. ET)
