Massive Rescue Operation in Southern California Leaves Hundreds of Pets in Need of Homes
A significant rescue operation took place on Friday, resulting in hundreds of animals being removed from an animal shelter in Lake Hughes, California. The Los Angeles County Animal Care & Control agency seized an estimated 250 dogs and 66 cats after executing a search warrant. Christine De Anda, the executive director of the group, has reported receiving serious threats since the operation.
