Orediggers Shine in Outdoor Track Season Debut

STANFORD, Calif. – In an impressive start to the outdoor track season, the Colorado School of Mines (CSM) saw three school records shattered during the prestigious Stanford Invitational on Friday night.

Record-Breaking Performances

Jenna Ramsey-Rutledge, leading the charge, made history by clocking one of the fastest 10,000m times in NCAA Division II, finishing with a stunning time of 32:24.23. This performance not only reset her own school record but also reaffirmed her status as a formidable competitor in the event, as she now holds the #2 and #3 best times in D-II history. Competing against elite athletes, including BYU’s Jane Hedengren, who established a new collegiate record, Ramsey-Rutledge’s run optimally showcased her years of dedication and training.
