No. 2 California Golden Bears Men’s Rowing Team Continues Undefeated Streak at California Classic
REDWOOD SHORES, Calif. – The California Golden Bears men’s rowing team, currently ranked No. 2, extended its undefeated season with a stunning performance during the California Classic held at Redwood Shores on Sunday morning. The highlight of the day was the victory of the Cal 4V8+ crew against the No. 15 Wisconsin 2V8+, marking the culmination of an outstanding weekend of rowing.
Weekend Highlights: Dominating Performance
Throughout the California Classic, the Golden Bears demonstrated their dominance, finishing with an impressive sweep of their races. On Saturday alone, Cal won all 11 of its races, defeating top-ranked teams such as Wisconsin, No. 19 Temple, No. 21 Oregon State, No. 24 UC San Diego, and No. 25 Santa Clara. The undefeated weekend showcased the team’s strength and preparation as they gear up for upcoming competitions.

The Golden Bears will continue their season with a road trip to Princeton, New Jersey on April 11-12, where they will compete in the Princeton Races. This will be a critical event as they seek to maintain their winning streak against formidable opponents.
