LONG BEACH, Calif. — In a challenging match against Long Beach State, the Saint Mary’s women’s tennis team succumbed to a 4-0 defeat. Despite their hard work and determination, the Gaels found it difficult to secure a win.

The Gaels entered the doubles matches with optimism. They finished with a 1-2 record in doubles play, highlighted by a notable victory from the duo of Sophie Stanton and Sydney Wilson, who triumphed with a 6-4 score. This win improved their season record to 2-3 and allowed them to maintain a perfect 2-0 record for the week after their recent victory over UC Riverside.
