SACRAMENTO, Calif., Jan. 27, 2026 – California American Water is set to invest $4.7 million in a new groundwater well aimed at improving water resilience and reliability for its Suburban-Rosemont customers. The Contempo Well Installation Project
The Contempo Well Installation Project is designed to establish a new groundwater production well that will meet the evolving water demands in the Suburban-Rosemont system. This new well will replace aging wells as they are retired from service, ensuring continual and reliable water supply. The project includes not only the construction of the well but also necessary upgrades and equipment installation to enhance overall system performance.
