Dodgers Love L.A. Community Tour 2026: A Celebration of Community Engagement
The Los Angeles Dodgers, back-to-back World Series champions, are set to embark on their Dodgers Love L.A. Community Tour presented by Bank of America from January 26 to January 30, 2026. This initiative emphasizes the team’s commitment to making a positive impact across Southern California, featuring 11 stops over five action-packed days.
Celebrating Local Heroes and Communities
“After another unforgettable season, we’re excited to extend the celebration beyond the ballpark and into the heart of our communities,” said Kristin McCowan, Vice President of Government and Community Affairs for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Day 1: Kicking Off with Service
The tour will commence with the Dodgers’ annual Employee Day of Service in North Hollywood on Monday. Activities will take place at the Veteran Enriched Neighborhood, a facility founded in 2023 to provide essential housing and support for veterans and their families. The day will also feature a hands-on art workshop hosted by Dodgers players and alumni at Adrian’s Place in Santa Monica, promoting creativity and community engagement.
Day 2: Food Distribution and Recess Takeover
On Tuesday, the focus will shift to community well-being with a grocery distribution event featuring Dodger alumni such as Billy Ashley, Ken Landreaux, and Dennis Powell at Christy’s Foundation in Northridge. Later that day, a “Playworks Recess Takeover” at Hollydale Elementary School in South Gate will include fun physical activities led by alumni Matt Luke and Powell.
Day 3: Honoring Local Heroes
Wednesday’s events will highlight community resilience as 1981 World Series MVP Steve Yeager attends an appreciation lunch in San Bernardino, commemorating the 10-year anniversary of a tragic terrorist attack that affected the community. Following this, Billy Ashley will visit the City of Los Angeles Emergency Management Department bearing the World Series trophy, celebrating local efforts in disaster preparedness.
Day 4: Fun with Students
On Thursday, two-time Cy Young Award winner Blake Snell and player Landon Knack will host students from 75th Street Elementary School at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach. In the evening, the Glendale Recreation Center will hold a festive “Senior Prom,” featuring Dodgers players Jack Dreyer, Will Klein, Dalton Rushing, and River Ryan interacting with local seniors in an engaging and uplifting atmosphere.
Day 5: Pep Rally and Firefighter Recognition
The tour will conclude on Friday with a spirited pep rally at El Rancho High School in Pico Rivera, featuring appearances from nine current Dodgers players. The week will also include a firefighter recognition event at the Frank Hotchkin Memorial Training Center, marking the one-year anniversary of the devastating Altadena and Palisades fires that impacted the community. To cap it off, players Brusdar Graterol and Blake Snell will surprise customers at a local Jack in the Box.
Making a Lasting Impact
“We aim to make a lasting impact throughout the week for as many of our neighbors as possible,” stated Raul A. Anaya, President of Bank of America for Los Angeles. The Dodgers Love L.A. Community Tour serves as a testament to the organization’s commitment to giving back, reinforcing the bond between the team and the communities they represent.
