Welcome to Region G: Your Hub for Social Work Engagement and Growth

Understanding Region G

Region G represents the vibrant communities of Santa Barbara, Santa Clarita, North Los Angeles, and Ventura. It’s a diverse area encompassing coastal cities, charming suburban neighborhoods, and everything in between. Social workers within Region G are dedicated to promoting equity, enhancing mental health, and fostering professional networks throughout the region.

Opportunities for Connection and Growth

In Region G, we prioritize creating avenues for professional connection, personal growth, and advocacy. We accomplish this through a variety of programs, community partnerships, and local recognition initiatives. Whether you’re a student, an early-career social worker, or a seasoned professional, Region G is the perfect environment for impactful engagement.

Meet Your Regional Leaders

Regional Director: Yeji Lee, ASW

Yeji Lee serves as the Regional Director for the term 2023-2026. With over a decade in non-profit and behavioral health settings, Yeji is committed to creating supportive environments for growth. Her dual Master’s degrees in Psychology and Social Work allow her to specialize in crisis intervention for families, teens, and young adults. She is experienced in addressing trauma, anxiety, depression, and cultural issues while actively supporting LGBTQI+ communities.

Assistant Regional Director: Stephanie Cotcher, MSW, LCSW, PPSC

Stephanie Cotcher

Stephanie Cotcher, serving from 2024 to 2027, is the Assistant Regional Director and the Clinical Coordinator for her local school district’s Therapeutic Counseling Department. With an MSW from UCLA, she focuses on increasing access to mental health services and promoting professional development. Her extensive experience spans community mental health and cross-cultural service, ensuring holistic advocacy and support for her clients.
