Celebrate Black Student Success Week at Fullerton College

Fullerton College invites the community to participate in the seventh annual Black Student Success Week, taking place from April 20-24, 2026. This year’s theme, Revolution: (Re)Defining Black Student Success, encourages a thoughtful exploration of how higher education can better serve Black students, emphasizing the need for a shift in narrative control surrounding their success.

Engaging Programs and Activities

Throughout the week, the Umoja Village will host daily Black Hour webinars from 12-1 p.m., Monday to Thursday, where attendees can enjoy light refreshments while engaging with informative discussions. These webinars are part of a broader initiative, supported by events organized by the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office.

In addition, on Wednesday, April 22, from 1:30-2:30 p.m., there will be a Centering Black Brilliance session tailored for students interested in Africana Studies. This session offers an enriching opportunity to deepen understanding of topics related to Black history and culture.

All events will be held at the Umoja Village, located in Building 1900, Room 1904.

    Black Hour Webinar | 12-1 p.m.

  • Wednesday, April 22
    Black Hour Webinar | 12-1 p.m.
    Centering Black Brilliance | 1:30-2:30 p.m.
    Student Hour Webinar: Transferring to a Four-Year University | 6-7 p.m.

  • Thursday, April 23
    Black Hour Webinar | 12-1 p.m.
